Belong. Believe. Become.

theCREEK is ready to partner with JH and HS students to build God’s Kingdom in Castle Rock as in heaven by the power of God’s Spirit.

theCREEK Junior High

thecreek Junior High on Sunday nights is a great place for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders to come exactly as they are.

  • Doors open 30 minutes before service at 4:30 pm for lobby games and Snack Shack.

If your student would like to purchase a snack, drink, or slice of pizza before service, they will need to bring a few dollars. Snack Shack will only be open before service.

Sunday night services for Junior Highers include worship, high-energy games, a relevant message, and then spending time in small groups.

Junior High service and small groups go from 5 to 6:30. We ask that Junior High students are picked up promptly to allow our High School students to enter the building.

  • Summer at theCREEK is always epic and always different! We host a wide range of events that connect our students to Jesus and each other while also providing time for vacations and, well, summer!

During the summer months we encourage you to check the Student calendar for the most updated event info.

theCREEK Contributors

Sunday nights would not be possible for our Junior High and High School students without the awesome adult contributors who sign up to serve and do life alongside students at thecreek.

  • We are always in need of contributors to serve in the Snack Shack, at our large outreach events throughout the year, or to work in childcare on Sunday nights for thecreek leaders as they serve.

You don’t need to know all the answers to their questions about God or even the latest slang, you don’t need to be perfect (we’re all people in process) and you don’t even have to know already how to be a leader - thecreek staff is here to walk you all through it.

Have a question?

The awesome Makenzie Grider would love to help you learn more about theCREEK and answer any questions you might have!

Can I get in touch with my student’s small group leader?

We know that students are more capable than maybe a lot of us give them credit for, and also, there may be a time that you’d like to reach a Small Group Leader directly to discuss your student. You can use that button above, and we’ll help make that happen.
