Changed lives by the numbers

Numbers are inherently impersonal; however, around here, every number represents life change in our community and around the globe. And that’s something worth celebrating with our 2024 Annual Report!

You can view this report inside our Catalog during the summer months which is available on-site during weekend services, or download the PDF version below.

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! Your crops will be abundant, for I will guard them from insects and disease. Your grapes will not fall from the vine before they are ripe,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
— Malachi 3:10-11 (NLT)

What does giving mean?

Financial giving can be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering.

How do I prepare to give?

Giving should never be taken lightly, so it’s awesome that you would want to prepare your heart for this essential act of worship. We also believe that giving doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be as easy as talking to God and knowing your abc's.

ASK

God, I am asking you to speak. I am committing to listen. Put within my heart the financial amount you would have me give. Father, use this step of obedience to advance my dependency on your Holy Spirit.

BELIEVE

God, thank you for speaking. I trust you. With great faith, I believe that you are my Provider and that you will make a way for me to follow through this level of generosity.

COMMIT

God, my response today is, “Yes!” With joy and obedience, I submit to your leading. In advance, I commit to giving you the glory for authoring a story of irrational generosity in and through my life.

What should I give?

The question of “Ok, so what am I supposed to give?” is probably the most common question we receive when it comes to giving. It is also a completely fair and understandable question. Therefore, we have set out to provide a simple, yet profound direction in this regard.

Priority / Matthew 6:33

Give first. Save second. Live on the rest. This means prioritizing God first. Make giving the #1 priority in your budget every month. This can be simplified greatly by setting up a giving schedule online and determining a percentage you give back to God.

Progressive / 2 Corinthians 9:6

As you continue to build trust in God that he will provide for all your needs, continue to challenge the percentage of your income you are prioritizing for God. We believe that this is a catalyst for growth in faith. It is a good practice to prayerfully consider this at least annually.

Prompted / Galatians 6:10

This means that we should be prepared to give above and beyond our normal prioritized giving when prompted by the Holy Spirit..

  • The fact that you are asking that question is awesome! There is no definitive answer, so we encourage you to talk to God about how He wants you to calculate your tithe. The heart behind the tithe is to ensure that we are trusting God more than we are trusting our money. We believe He will lead you as you increasingly trust Him in this area.
